Annalise Colton, MS, CCC-SLP has over a decade of extensive professional and supervisory experience in premiere medical institutions, rehabilitation centers and private practices including: Mount Sinai Hospital, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Outreach Rehabilitation. 

​

She presents at national conferences, Parkinson's support groups, and Stroke support groups, as well as leads client/caregiver support groups. Annalise was an associate professor and clinical supervisor at Columbia University's speech language pathology graduate program. She is an affiliate of the National Aphasia Association, which highlighted Word of Mouth SLP as 'private practice of the month.' And she is on the provider list for the Michael J.Fox Foundation.

Annalise's personal focus promotes functional and confident communication, compassionate bedside manner and ongoing client/caregiver support for clients who are 18-100+ years old. She believes the way we communicate greatly impacts the quality of our lives. Annalise's mission is to empower her clients and their families utilizing highly individualized plans and care. 

 

And like any important life skill, good communication is something that we can all improve with consistent practice!

Licensed to practice in CT 

B.S in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Vermont (go Catamounts!)

M.S in Speech Language Pathology from Northeastern University (go Huskies!), where she was elected president of her graduate program.
