Annalise has over a decade of professional and supervisory experience in premiere medical institutions, rehabilitation centers and private practices including: Mount Sinai Hospital, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Outreach Rehabilitation. â€‹

 

Annalise promotes compassionate bedside manner, functional and confident communication, and ongoing client/caregiver support for clients who are 18-100+ years old. She believes the way we communicate greatly impacts the quality of our lives. And her mission is to empower her clients and their families by utilizing highly individualized plans and care. You don't need to be diagnosed with something to work with Annalise, everyone can work on their communication!

She has presented at national conferences, Parkinson's and Post-stroke support groups, as well as lead client/caregiver support groups. Annalise was a clinical supervisor at Columbia University's speech language pathology graduate program. She is also an affiliate of the National Aphasia Association, which highlighted Word of Mouth SLP as 'private practice of the month.' Word of Mouth SLP is also on the provider list for the Michael J.Fox Foundation. When Annalise is not treating adults with various speech, language, voice and cognitive challenges, she enjoys being on the radio and recording her podcast, "Word of Mouth." â€‹â€‹â€‹

Evaluations and sessions are available virtually.

Insurance: While Annalise does not accept insurance at this time, she can provide a Superbill upon request. 

​

Payment policy: Payment is required the day of service and can be made by Venmo/Paypal/Zelle.

Cancellation policy: Scheduled evaluations and sessions must be cancelled/rescheduled 24 hours prior. 

When the evaluation/session is cancelled at least 24 hours before the evaluation/session, the client will not be financially responsible to pay.
